As CFO, Tom Ruder oversees corporate financial planning and reporting, capital markets, property management, and the accounting function at Penzance. Before joining Penzance, Mr. Ruder held various positions with Snyder Enterprises between 2003 and 2007. Most recently he was CFO of Dick Clark Productions (a RedZone Capital portfolio company) and a Principal of RedZone Capital, a private equity fund. Prior to that, Mr. Ruder was CFO of Snyder Enterprises and VP of Finance for the Washington Redskins. At American Capital Strategies, Mr. Ruder spearheaded participation in LBO’s and managed multiple distressed investments. Mr. Ruder spent five years with the privately owned $1.5 billion group of operating and private equity companies known as Duchossois Industries, where he closed deals totaling $125 million in equity. During his seven years at Arthur Andersen, Mr. Ruder worked with both the audit and business consulting groups, most recently as an engagement manager. Mr. Ruder received a B.S. in Accounting from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
