Christopher T. Nolan has responsibility for sourcing and structuring acquisitions and dispositions across multiple asset classes and for building the Penzance multifamily platform. Mr. Nolan brings more than 23 years of commercial real estate transaction and asset management experience to Penzance, most recently as President of Palm Leaf Capital. Prior to that, Mr. Nolan was Executive Vice President of Archstone-Smith, formerly the third largest REIT in the US. In 1994, Mr. Nolan joined what was a small regional REIT and helped to grow the enterprise from $400 million to over $20 billion in market capitalization before it was taken private by Tishman Speyer in 2007. Mr. Nolan was responsible for over $13 billion in multifamily sector transactions while at Archstone-Smith for both operating and development assets. Before joining Archstone, Mr. Nolan spent six years as Asset Manager for USF&G in Baltimore. He received his BA in English Literature from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA.
